What a strange title for this post you may be asking! WELL..............with Christmas just about on top of us, I have friends and family coming for Christmas Eve dinner and then Christmas Day lunch.
Now with an occupation such as mine.......stitching stitching stitching!!!! The ol' house duties take a back row seat most of the time. I am talking about the finer details of house duties such as dusting, having an organised linen closet, window cleaning and so forth.
SO...............I am to be congratulated because...I...and I alone........totally emptied my pantry and gave it a face lift. Did away with the flour from the 16th century and the warehouse of crackers that only a pantry moth would drool over!
AND...........
I emptied out my fridge and gave it a spring clean as well. Too many sauce bottles with god knows what in them to mention. So I was feeling quite pleased with myself.
There shall be no Botulism factory happenin' in my house thankyou very much!! LOL
Plenty of room now for the turkeys that are comfortably de-frosting! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! sigh..
With only 2 sleeps to go are we organised????? I have present wrapping to do tonight and I think I am there! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........super SIGH!
Oh and I survived the garden shed mission to retrieve the Christmas Tree. Happy to say that it made it up and fully decorated.
With some special help from my niece Alex! Thanks Alex. Jack didn't want to be in it this year. "Too old for that mum. I'm not a baby"! awe shucks.................but still wants Santa to squeeze his butt down the chimney though. Funny about that hey. Now before I go I will be taking a small break from blogging to rest the peepers and take a load off for a wee while. I shall be back to my blog fresh and bright around the middle of January. So I would like to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and a safe, happy and fortunate new year. May gold coins roll to your front door and your belly always be full! I have a chrissy blessing also for everyone who is enjoying the silly season on the other side of the globe. P.S Just to let you know that my friend Kathy is home where it is much more comfortable for her with her illness surrounded by loved ones. xxxxxx See you next year 8-) Blessings to all "In Stitches" Natalie x
Natalie you do deserve a congratulations. I have not dusted and I really need too. I wish I could afford a housekeeper.
Merry Christmas

Hi Natalie,
I always get a good giggle when I read your blog. Do you keep opening your fridge and pantry to admire its neatness. Thats what I do whenever I give mine a clean out, I just have to keep admiring it. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and new year and look forward to more giggles from your blog next year and of course some more of your wonderful designs.
