I had thought about announcing the winners last night being Wednesday but then thought what about our international friends. It's only Tuesday for them so I hung back for another day. Hope you don't mind. It also gave those last minute gals plenty of time to enter as well.
Thankyou for a tremendous response with what you like to bury your head in. (books that is) LOL....... I found it really interesting to see what people like to read and how varied they all are. There are a few "Twilight" readers in there and the "Elm creek books" as well. So thank you all for sharing and I hope that all book worms have added to their library with this info.
Now the random number generator has picked 3 winners and I have a special friend who will be announcing the names. Do you remember the book "Where the wild things are" by Maurice Sendak? Well when I first met my husband I was out and about one lunchtime from work and walked past this very interesting book shop. Sitting in the window was a stuffed toy, so ugly, so grotesque that only a mother could love it but I have always thought that ugly critters are cute so naturally I fell in love with him immediately. No I am not talking about my husband.
I am talking about this guy........his name is "Moishe" and he is one of the characters from "Where the wild things are" and I just had to buy him for my hubby. That was 20 years ago. He cost me $25.00 and we have had him ever since. So introducing "Moishe" the Troll to announce the winners of my "The Little Borrowers" library bag pattern giveaway. Please give a round of applause......"clap" "clap" "clap" "clap"........and the crowd goes WILD....................
Thankyou Moishe. He looks a bit scruffy but he has moved around town a fair bit over the years and had to contend with a puppy or two!!
Isn't he CUTE!!!!! 8-)
Well congratulations to the 3 winners. Could you please email me with your snail mail address and Moishe will be sure to get Postman Pat on his merry way to you.
Thanks again for all joining in and making it a fun giveaway. Back with more soon on my quilt in progress.
Until next time......
Go WILD “In Stitches” Natalie
Moishe is certainly not the most handsome of fellas, but never the less, someone has to love HIM. I am making your Pocketful of Sunshine satchel and I am pleased with how it is going. Will send you a photo after it is finished. I am enjoying getting back into the stitchery side of things, I have neglected it of late.
