Well you wouldn't think with the day we are having here today and they say for the rest of the week....................... it is torrential rain, thunder, you name it. I went to get some stitching supplies earlier and I couldn't even get out of my car for about 15 minutes......WOOOOO!
But I am happy to say that after the past few weeks of having prunes I am starting to feel like lollipops.... :) or is it a G & T..... thanks for the tip Sarah B & you picked it. Slow and steady she goes so back on dry land I am, the waters are calming and can I hear a lullaby in the distance??????
Ahhhh of course I can. Horace has a darling voice, related to Michael Buble' you know..hehe. He's singing a sweet tune to Jaffa!
The Owl looked up to the stars above,
And sang to a small guitar,
"O lovely Pussy, O Pussy, my love,
What a beautiful Pussy you are,
What a beautiful Pussy you are!"
Fergus Fish seems to be doing backup vocals. LOL...... Well here is my latest design. If you haven't guessed it "Lullaby in the night Sky". Based on the beautiful poem of "The Owl & the Pussycat" and I have my gorgeous & very talented quilter to thank for requesting I do this theme for her new grandson so thankyou Sharon xx
