I know you will easily guess what this is...aaahhhhhhhh BUT........what is the rest all about hey???? hey??? Hmmm I wonder..........!
2nd special event and what a special one this truly is. Very much in my heart. My darling boy turned 16 on the 24th of April. Smack bang on Easter sunday, way to go Jack! The birthday celebrations were mammoth. We started out with paintball on Easter saturday. We snuck him in as you have to be 16 to legally play paintball but ahhhh what's a day right. It was a testosterone filled day indeed. Here are the troops.........what a motley crew!
Jack knee deep in battle. I don't think he had even moved at this stage. He told me he was terrified to begin with...LOL..didn't take long to get into the groove though. Boy thing!
Now every battle field has a photographer and this battle field had 2 of em'. Cathie and I braved it and went inside the battle field with our very compulsory masks on for some action shots. We came out for some air and took a pic of each other but there isn't one of the both of us together. Everyone was armed with a gun instead of a camera. It was so funny being in there. Well not funny at first. We were quietly peeing our pants but after a while we started to feel like we were reporting from some war torn country. And I even have the battle wounds to prove it.....! LOL
No ambulance required as we ARE.... storm troopers!! LOL
Now as the troops dragged themselves from the battle field, it looked like father and son had each others' backs!!
We packed up and headed home for non other than..........
My boy is 16 and taller than me now. I bought him a new pair of shoes yesterday and couldn't resist doing this.....
Back soon to share my latest design.
Let's celebrate "In Stitches"
