My BOM "The flower pot people" is coming along very nicely. I am lovin' the colours of Hunky Dory and with only one stitchery to go that makes me a happy camper indeed!
It has been a bit of a challenge as my shoulder, left side thank god as I am a righty, has a major issue.
In October of last year something strange happened to it overnight. One day fine the next day kapoot!! I thought I had strained it or torn some tendons or something as the pain was unbearable. I took my self off to a remedial massage person to get some relief. Everything else felt wonderful but the arm, still kapoot!!
I was told by a few people that I had probably done my rotator cuff muscle and that takes quite some time to mend. So I have been looking after it like it's a new born babe.
As it got steadily worse the crunch came a little over a week ago when I could not sleep and woke many times through the night with pain shooting down my arm and pins & needles like I have never felt. Couldn't stand it any longer so out came the yellow pages and I found myself a physiotherapist.
Great news came that day.......NOT! I have Adhesive Capsulitis.......WHAT THE???? you say. Yes my sentiments exactly. Favourite term for it is "A frozen Shoulder".
Hmmmmmmm.....FABULOUS! No moving of the shoulder for at least 2 weeks, then scans and then hopefully treatment without cortisone infections.
Sorry, did I say no moving of the shoulder? That directly relates to no stitching......AH NO CAN DO!! my favourite physio! LOL........Nah, I have been pretty good at resting it. Needle and thread in the right hand means progress. Putting on the bra, now that's a different story but I won't share that one........LOL! I am like a disfunctional yogi!!!
So I have some sneaky peeky's of my BOM so far. My people are looking very pleased with themselves. Who wouldn't when you get to live at the bottom of a garden with all the whimsies of nature!
I have yet to name them so will put my thinking cap on for that one while I stitch away.
Hope you are enjoying your sunday. :-)
