Now I have a giveaway today for my new pattern "A Ladybird's Serenade" but before I get into that I have a couple of things to share. Firstly I simply cannot help myself sometimes. As I hand stitch away at my latest project "Wishful thinking", I began to get withdrawals from my best mate....my sewing machine! So that called for putting on the brakes from "Wishful thinking" and whipping up something to satisfy my machine craving.
Now before I go any further with that here is another sneeky peeky at "Wishful thinking"
Not much stitching happening in this area. 8-} It won't happen overnight but it will happen. LOL!!
And I am totally over the moon with this latest pattern which I have named
"The Little Borrower" It is a child's library bag and as all little kiddies love visiting the library when at school why not have a funky bag to put their books into.
I remember like it was yesterday when I was a kid going to the mobile library van on the way home from school. Hanging out and looking through all the books with their colours and illustrations AND getting to take them home for a while.
Do they still have those???
And at school we each had our own library card that was kept in its own little paper pouch. At the beginning of every school year we were allowed to decorate it with drawing etc: I wish I had kept mine, I did a copy of a Picasso. Hmmmm may have been worth something by now! LOL
So here is my Library bag, pretty cute hey! All that is left to do is type the pattern which I will motivate myself to do tonight before moving onto anything else and then it shall be ready for release. 8-)
Now the giveaway. I have 3 patterns for "A Ladybird's Serenade" to giveaway. If you have room in your life for a Ladybird (Ladybug for our overseas visitors) all you have to do is leave a comment on this post to be a part of the giveaway. It's as simple as that!!! 8-)
I will draw the 3 winners next Tuesday evening. So good luck ladies!!
Until next time.........
