Well of course you do! :-) Who wouldn't want to have cheeky little friends in the garden to keep you company while we do the dreaded job of hangin out the washing!! LOL
Or better still to have cheeky friends to hold onto your all important sewing pins. Well my groovy gang are the ones for the task at hand. I have finished my photography session and the pattern is ready to go. I took the photo across the road from my house at the base of the mountain where there is a trail of "Buttercups" lining the road side.
It was a bit hairy I have to say as there are no footpaths and a blind corner not far up the road. So I carried my supplies over and perched my cheeky friends where they felt most comfortable, positioned myself halfway out on the road and said "SMILE"......click...click...click
Smile they did and so did most of the drivers who cruised past wondering what was I doing crouched down with my camera, showing too much builders behind!!! LOL
That made their day I am sure. So with the "Friends from the garden" pattern complete and the kids very excited I have 3 patterns to "GIVEAWAY".
Mine would be that it has so many lovely trees. I am lucky enough to have a Jacaranda, a Guava (fruit), a Macadamia Nut and a Mulberry tree. So it's a guarantee that we would never go hungry and neither do the birds that come daily to feast.
So just leave a comment to enter into the giveaway and you will automatically go into the draw to win a pattern. I will draw the winners next Tuesday morning as I have class on the Monday night. Good Luck girls!!
Now before I go I have to show you my scrumdiddlyumptious fabric that I bought at the AQM last week. It's called "Oh Cherry Oh" by Me and my sister for Moda. I love the colours and can't wait to design something with them. It will probably be over the Christmas break as I have a project due for "Homespun" magazine in the next few weeks but I will keep you updated.
Check these out!
I bought the Layer Cake pack which consists of 1 x 10 inch square of each fabric in the range. I have 4 layer cakes. YUMMY!!!!
Here are most of them. There are also lots of tone on tones in different colours. They are just good enough to eat. And just a few close ups.
I will leave you with this eye candy while I go and play with fabric.
So until next time.....
