Well with school back and my now TEENAGER son out of the house I have some quiet time for me and my BOM! Yes my boy is a teenager. He celebrated his 13th Birthday last Thursday and had a great day with some nice gifts, LOTS of money, a trip to the movies with his best friend Michael and a yummy birthday cake made by Nana!! Good on ya Nana.
I was a bit slow in getting the camera so I missed the sparklers. It was a nice touch and the cake was DELICIOUS. Chocolate is Jack's favourite........so we had to get in quick.
Jack is slightly concerned about turning 13. He said now he is old it will be hard to do things. OLD!!! I reasurred him that 13 was just getting older not OLD! Come on......I don't feel old at 21.....LOL! YEAH...DREAMIN' ... 8-) Let's change the subject.
I am making some nice progress with Fairy Meadow and have another little sneak peek to show you. I will reveal much more next week, promise, Promise, PROMISE! but until now I shall keep the curtains drawn for a tad longer.
So here is a peek a boo at Miss Buttercup!
I have chosen the fabrics that I will be using. The range is called "POSH" and I just love the colours. They will work perfectly. Kerry from Cottage on the hill was cutting them up when I phoned her. She told me that they had my name written all over them. Funny thing is that I had already started stitching my BOM and had another fabric range lined up but these were meant to be as they match my threads. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...............Spooky! Thanks kerry, you know me too well.
I probably could have taken a slightly better pic without the lime green chenille in the background but it was getting late and my camera batteries were about to die on me and I wanted to get this post on tonight. But you get the idea. Aren't they YUMMY! I am on my last Fairy stitchery and then maybe some applique, I haven't quite made up my mind and then I can cut..cut..cut! and sew...sew...sew!
SEW until next time........
youthfully "In Stitches" hehehehehehehe
